Welcome to the 2023 r/merthur icon contest! We are so excited to have fanartists participate for the chance to create an icon for r/merthur, that will be displayed until the end of December of 2023. (We plan to host this competition semi-annually so multiple artists in our community can be celebrated :)

If you would like to participate, simply email your fanart to bbcmerlin.subreddit@gmail.com w/ your preferred username, in the correct measurements, and then fill out this google form to let us know you have submitted your art!

This google form will close on July 3rd at 11:59PM, so be sure to have your responses and fanart emailed in by then!

At the end of the month, we'll collect all the responses and release a google form for r/merthur and r/merlinbbc to vote with. This voting will last a week, and once it's over, we'll announce the winner and the new icon for r/merthur to display.

Please note that any form of fanart is permitted, but we would prefer digital art as it is easier to upload. The image must be 256x256px to be displayed, but if you have any questions/ or have trouble w/ formatting your image, please reach out to the moderators of r/merthur and we will be happy to help!

Lastly, please keep the fanart SFW only, thank you!

The winner of the r/merthur icon contest will have their preferred social handle displayed for credit under the banner, and in the 'About' section of r/merthur.
