As funding allows, FACT will award scholarships of up to $400 for livestock and poultry farmers to attend educational events in order to learn knowledge, skills and best practices related to humane animal management, business and farm finance, and/or value-added production processes. FACT will award scholarships that cover registration expenses to specific conferences, as well as other conferences or events that are proposed by individual farmers. Applications will be accepted, reviewed, and granted on a rolling basis until we have depleted our funds for this program. In order to receive funding, you will need to submit proof of registration and payment within 24 hours of receiving notification that you have been awarded a scholarship unless other arrangements have been made.
