This conducting workshop will be for 8 band directors who would like to conduct a chamber ensemble made up of Marshall University Wind musicians. Your experience in this masterclass will include the conducting of a chamber wind choir piece (TBD) and you will receive feedback from Dr. Vallejo and Dr. Schletter. There will be a separate e-mail regarding details and access to the score ahead of time. This is a "first-come, first-serve" basis, however we will have a short waiting list in the event that someone changes their mind and/or cancels.

We hope that all participants are open to instruction, critique, and suggestions for improving his/her/their conducting knowledge and skills. We believe this is an important part of improving your ensemble's musicianship, as well as your own.

We encourage everyone to attend, as all directors are welcome to observe as a non-conducting participant of the workshop.
