Middle School Sex Ed Skill Development - August 10th- 9am-4pm - Roosevelt High School
Join ACT* partners and lead sexuality education trainers in an in-person training to develop skills as a Middle School sexuality educator, using elements of the Get Real Comprehensive Sex Education 6-8th grade curriculum.

Note: This training will be held in-person at Roosevelt High School (6941 N Central St, Portland, OR 97203). Participants are expected to wear a face mask and adhere to COVID-19 precautions.

Middle School Sex Ed Skill Development
At this training, you can expect to:
- Practice supporting students’ varied values about sexuality in strengths-based ways
- Build comfort and confidence teaching anatomy, decision making, healthy relationships
- Familiarize yourself with elements of the Get Real curriculum
- Learn more ways to create LGBTQ+ inclusive classrooms
- Integrate racial equity into sexual health lessons and classroom discussions
- Address doubts, questions, fears, and excitement about teaching sexual health
