Embracing Foodlife, Community & Servant   Leadership: A Day in the Life of ARI
Join AFARI and ARI for a one-day event at Quiet Creek Farm in Brookville, Pennsylvania on October 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. This is event is open to all individuals and families that are interested in learning more about living sustainably. This event will be hosted by AFARI and ARI and will offer day-long experiential activities that embody Asian Rural Institute's values of foodlife, servant leadership, and community building. 

Activities include:

- Radio Exercise (Japanese style)
- Morning Foodlife Work (Harvesting vegetables for lunch)
- Morning Gathering (Reflection)
- Morning Activity (Making ARI Bread)
- Participatory Lunch (Vegetarian)
- Afternoon Activity (Preparing and Planting the HugelKultur)
--Afternoon Reflection and Refreshments
