Downtown Dollars Agreement
By signing this agreement, Vallejo Main Street agrees to:
  • List the local merchant as a Participating Merchant in all promotions of the Downtown Dollars Program.
  • Promote the Downtown Dollars Program.
  • Distribute Downtown Dollars.
  • Reimburse Participating Merchants for all Downtown Dollars received in a timely manner.

By signing this agreement, you (the participating local merchant) agree to:
  • Accept Downtown Dollars as currency for their full face value.
  • Inform all of your staff that you accept Downtown Dollars.
  • Accept Downtown Dollars at any time after their issue, as California law prohibits any expiration date.
  • Redeem Downtown Dollars with Vallejo Main Street in a timely manner, or continue to spend them throughout Downtown Vallejo.
  • $1.00 (one dollar) fee will be charged for every $20 bill redeemed. (ex. merchant turns in $20 downtown dollars - Vallejo Main Street reimburses merchant $19.)
  • $.25 (twenty-five cent) see will be charged for every $5 bill redeemed. (ex. merchant turns in $5 downtown dollars - Vallejo Main Street reimburses merchant $4.75)
  • Contact contact@vallejomainstreet.org to request redemption of Downtown Dollars.
