Thank you for applying to the Cambridge Biosecurity Hub (CBH)!

The application process will consist of a 30-minute application form and a 30-minute informal chat with your potential project lead. We aim to process all applications within 7-10 business days of submission. This application is designed for us to learn a little bit about you, your motivations, and your suitability for CBH. We aim to get back to you about progression to the informal chat within 3 days.

Please do not spend longer than 30-40 minutes completing this form.

The deadline for applying is Friday, 19 January 2024, for the project cycle running 22 January 2024 - 8 March 2024. We’ll process applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.

Time Commitment

As these are full research projects that take up supervisors' time, we care significantly more that you're willing to devote time to the projects, and can work on them to completion.

Please check this box to confirm that:
- You can, on average, devote at least 5 hours a week on your project.
- You understand that if you drop out without a valid reason, you will be unlikely to be accepted to similar programs in the future (an example of a valid reason is poor mentorship on the project supervisor's part, or personal circumstances).
