Kala Field Trip Request Form 2019-2020
Kala Art Institute invites you to participate in our 2019-202 guided field-trip and artmaking program. We are designing curriculum around the upcoming Kala Artists’ Annual exhibition (December 5, 2019– February 29, 2020), and a special showing of prints from the collection of David Kabakoff (December 5, 2019-- January 25, 2019). Tours will be offered on Thursdays, December 12, 2019– February 27, 2020  from 10:30 am-12:00 pm.

We can accommodate 30 students per tour. We strongly recommend that teachers submit a field trip request at least two weeks in advance.

We are located at 2990 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley 94702 near AC Transit bus #72 or a 15 min walk from Ashby BART
 
Please make your own travel plans to Kala. We do not provide transportation. Thank you.

Please note: Adults accompanying groups are responsible for supervising students at all times. More information about chaperones and supervision will be sent with your confirmation.
MORE ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Kala Artists’ Annual Exhibition features fresh work in a variety of media by Kala’s community of artists. The exhibition reflects the diverse Kala community with a juried exhibition of prints, photographs, paintings, drawings, videos, mixed media works, and sculpture. Kala also has a special showing of prints from the collection of David Kabakoff. You will receive a pre-visit guide before the start of the program.
