Your enrollment reserves your space in the studio. Studio Membership Tuition is prorated (the total number of lessons in a semester, divided by the number of months) and made on a monthly basis. Studio memberships may be upgraded at any time. The first two classes for beginners come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Method books and materials fees are billed seperately and paid on the first class meeting. Private lessons are reserved for intermediate-advanced level players. Private lessons are limited and subject to availability.
 
Studio members should have access to at least a 61 key or full 88 key acoustic (tuned at least annually) or electronic keyboard (weighted keys are desirable) when beginning lessons, or be in the process of acquring one.  Feel free to inquire about piano/keyboard recommendations.  
 
Please be quite sure of your lesson time before committing. In the case of illness or schedule conflicts, a lesson swap calendar and studio swap list are available. No refunds will be made for missed group or private lessons. One teacher flex week (in case of illness) is incorporated into the Fall & Spring semesters.
 
In inclement weather situations, classes will be cancelled if Calvert County Schools are closed. Cancelled classes will be refunded in full. The regular calendar year is September 2019 through June of 2020. Summer classes in July and August will be announced in the Spring of 2020. Classes will continue to be held on one day (Monday) holidays (such as Columbus Day) during the calendar year. Please see the Studio Calendar for details. One teacher holiday week is incorporated into the Spring semester.

For security and liability purposes,  Calvert Piano employes exterior audio/visual surveillance in the driveway and front yard areas. The data is retained for 7 days and thereafter automatically deleted, unless manually preserved. Maryland State law requires that you be notified that audio/visual surveillance is present.  
 

I hereby give permission for images of myself to be captured during Calvert Piano Studios activities through photo, video or sound files, to be used solely for the purposes of Calvert Piano Studios educational or promotional materials and publications, and I waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.
