Dear Mahanay Families,

It’s hard to believe we are rapidly approaching the end of the third nine weeks grading period, which ends on March 12.

The fourth nine weeks grading cycle will begin upon our return from Spring Break on Monday, March 22, 2021. Per TEA guidelines, families are allowed to formally change their child’s mode of instruction (virtual or in-person) before the start of a new grading period.

If you wish to keep your child’s learning mode, you need not do anything at this time.

However, if you would like to change your child’s learning mode (from virtual to in-person or from in-person to virtual) for the fourth grading period (March 22 to June 3), you must complete the form below no later than Friday, March 5 at 11:59 p.m. for each of your children attending Mahanay.

After you complete the form the first time, you will see the option to submit another response in case you have more than one child attending our school. You will need to complete the form for each child you have attending this school whose learning mode you want to change.

If you have children who attend another AISD school and you wish to change their learning mode, please complete the form that the other campus sent to you about that child.

Our goal is to maintain consistency for students, while also maintaining our class size and safety structures. In some cases we may need to change a student’s teacher(s) in order to better serve everyone's needs in the new grading period.
