- All courses include online class assignments, and online materials selections.
- Recommended workbooks/ dictionaries are optional for additional exercises. The instructor will let you know where you can purchase one.

BASIC PORTUGUESE 2 - Português Básico 2
- For continuing students of Básico 1 or students who know the basic structure of Portuguese including present tenses
- For New students: if you had formal introduction to Portuguese, upon filling out this application and an assessment form, to see if you qualify for the starting level of this class. Click on the assessment link after you submit the application.
Mondays, 6:15pm- 8:15pm EST/New York., for 8 weeks - except on Memorial Day, May 27 (1 extra hour of self-study required)
Starting: April 8 - June 3, 2024 (no class on May 27)
Cost : $160 - $320 sliding scale.

Basic Portuguese 3 - Português Básico 3
- For continuing students of Básico 2 or students who know the basic structure of Portuguese including present, past and future tenses
- For New students: if you had formal learning of Portuguese for all basic tenses, upon filling out this application and an assessment form, to see if you qualify for the starting level of this class. Click on the assessment link after you submit the application.
Saturdays, 11am- 1pm EST/ New York, for 8 weeks (1 extra hour of self-study highly recommended; collaborative assignments required)
Starting: APRIL 6- June 1st, 2024 (no class on April 20)
Cost : $160 - $320 sliding scale.

Intermediate Portuguese 1
- For continuing students of Básico 3 or students who know all the basic structures of Portuguese including Presente do subjuntivo
- For New students: upon filling out an application and an assessment form, and qualifying for the starting level of this class.
Tuesdays, 6:15pm- 8:15pm EST/ New York, for 8 weeks (1 extra hour of self-study highly recommended)
Starting: APRIL 9 - MAY 28, 2024
Cost : $160 - $320 sliding scale.

ADVANCED PORTUGUESE *
+ BOOK/FILM CLUB
Registration for this class will be sent for new qualifying students or those who took - Português Avançado 1, 2 or in some cases, Intermediate 2.

- For New students: upon filling out this application, and a required separate assessment form, and qualifying for the level of this class.
Saturdays, 3-5PM, every 2 weeks for 4 sessions . Dates TBD
Cost : $80 - $160 sliding scale.

All new applicants for Basic 2, 3 , Intermediate and Advanced courses are required to complete a Portuguese Assessment form.

These courses are designed for different levels and skills. The placement is for the best learning experience for you and for all in the group.
