The public training dataset for the MMSys'22 Grand Challenge on AI-based Video Production for Soccer includes complete soccer game videos from the Norwegian Eliteserien, accompanied by a list of highlights in the form of event annotations, for each game. The list of highlights includes goal annotations, card annotations, and additional timing metadata
consists.

The dataset was curated by employees of ForzaSys AS and researchers at Simula Metropolitan Center for Digital Engineering (SimulaMet).

Terms of use for accessing the training dataset (Dataset) for the MMSys'22 Grand Challenge on AI-based Video Production for Soccer:

1. The Dataset is intended for this competition only. It is not an open dataset, and the data is owned by the Norwegian association for elite soccer (NTF).  Thus, it should be used purely for research and educational purposes in this competition, and it should not be used for commercial purposes.

2. The Dataset should not be distributed or shared with third-parties outside the competition.

3.  Simula Metropolitan Center for Digital Engineering (SimulaMet) and its contributors make no representations or warranties regarding the Dataset, including but not limited to warranties of non-infringement or fitness for a particular purpose.

4. Persons requesting access to the Dataset accept full responsibility for their use of the Dataset and shall defend and indemnify SimulaMet and its contributors, including their employees, against any and all claims arising from their use of the Dataset, including but not limited to their use of any copies of copyrighted Images, videos, and models that they may create from the Dataset.

5. Persons requesting access to the Dataset may provide research associates and colleagues with access to the Dataset only on the condition that they first agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. SimulaMet and its contributors reserve the right to terminate access to the Dataset at any time.

7. If persons requesting access to the Dataset are employed by a for-profit, commercial entity, their employer shall also be bound by these terms and conditions, and persons requesting access to the Dataset hereby represent that they are fully authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of such employer.

8. The laws of Norway shall apply to all disputes under this agreement.

Note that by agreeing to these terms, you also agree to follow any and all guidelines provided in the challenge description regarding the Dataset.
