Permission for walking to and from school alone/use of Mobile Phones

No child will be able to walk home alone without prior consent from a parent or guardian.
It is recommended that ONLY year 6 children are allowed to walk to and from school alone.
I give permission for my child to walk to and from school without supervision and take full responsibility for them once they leave the school premises. *
Only pupils who are walking to and/or from school without adult supervision, may bring a mobile phone to school.
The mobile phone must be switched off as soon as pupils arrive on the school premises. They must then be handed to a member of admin staff who will collect them from each classroom during registration. The mobile phones will then be taken to the school office and placed in a locked cupboard. At the end of the day they will be handed back to pupils before they exit the building.
I give permission for my child to bring a mobile phone in to school as he/she walks to and from school without supervision. *
