Welcome to Askö Family Camp 2024 Waiting List. This year marks the 20th anniversary of this home-education-focused camp!
This year, the camp starts on Monday, July 8th, and ends on Sunday, July 14th. Please, take a minute to read through this before registering, since there is some new information compared to previous years.
Askö is our home and, as the camp is hosted here, it's essential for us to have some information about our guests, like your name, a little bit about your family and how to reach you.
To register for the camp, please provide your full name, your intended arrival and departure dates, and the number of family members attending (excluding pets). This information helps us ensure that our facilities can accommodate everyone.
Additionally, we kindly request your phone number and email address. This information will enable us to contact you for attendance confirmation.
If you're unable to stay for the entire week, we encourage you to join us for the latter part. We've seen over the years that this creates a better camp, especially for the children.
Please register as soon as possible if you plan to attend due to the increased interest in the past 2 years, which has made it necessary for us to close registration and have a waiting list. When the initial registration burst has settled down and we approach the event, you will receive an email to confirm your attendance. If we reach maximum capacity, it's important for us to get confirmations to avoid "no-shows", and instead let people on the waiting list get a chance to come.
We're curious about the age of your family members and where you are from. This helps us understand the composition of the camp, including the age groups of children attending.
We'd also like to know if you're an old-timer, few-timer or if you are new to the camp. One of the benefits of the camp is the mix of experienced home educators and curious newcomers.
