BREAKFAST SHIFT/TURNO DEL DESAYUNO: 8am - 12pm

-Assist with breakfast preparation, service, and cleanup. Ayúdenos servir el desayuno y limpiar después.

-Help dispense over-the counter medication. Ayúdenos dispensar medicamentos de venta libre

-Aid migrants and staff in cleanup of sleeping space. Apoyanos a los huéspedes a limpiar.

-Organize and restock clothing room (roperia). Organiza y cómoda ropa en la ropería.

-Print important documents for guests. Imprime documentos importantes para los huéspedes.

-Foster a safe and hospitable environment. Cultiva un medio ambiente seguro y tranquilo.

-Welcome guests and assist in 11am intake process.  Ayúdenos con el proceso de admisión a las 11am.

LUNCH SHIFT/ TURNO DEL ALMUERZO: 12pm - 5pm

-Assist in lunch service, and cleanup. Apoyanos preparar, servir, y limpiar por el almuerzo.

-Help dispense over-the-counter medication. Ayúdenos dispensar medicamentos de venta libre.

-Print important documents for guests. Imprime documentos importantes para los huéspedes.

-Foster a safe and hospitable environment. Cultiva un medio ambiente seguro y tranquilo.

-Welcome guests and assist in 4pm intake process.  Ayúdenos con el proceso de admisión a las 4pm.

DINNER SHIFT/ TURNO DE LA CENA: 5pm - 9pm

-Assist in dinner preparation, service, and cleanup. Apoyarnos preparar, servir, y limpiar por la cena.

-Help dispense toiletries, clothing, and over the counter medication from 7-9pm. Ayúdenos dar ropa, productos del baño, y medicamentos de venta libre entre 7-9pm.

-Print important documents for guests. Imprime documentos importantes para los huéspedes.

-Foster a safe and hospitable environment. Cultiva un medio ambiente seguro y tranquilo.

Other ways to volunteer (Otras maneras a hacer voluntad):

-Take dirty towels or blankets to wash (on the volunteer's expense) and bring them back to the shelter the following day. Lava toallas y cobijas sucias (cuantos puedas) y vuelvelas la siguente dia.

-Provide transportation to medical appointments, biometrics appointments, or flights for guests. Lleva la gente a citas médicas, citas biometricas, y al aeropuerto.

-Enrichment Activity/Actividad de Enriquecimiento: Assist the Activities Coordinator in providing activities with various ages from 9am-12pm or 1-3pm. Examples include: dance or exercise class, reading, English lessons, arts and crafts, board games, etc. Ayudar al coordinador de actividades en facilitar diversas actividades para varias edades (por ejemplo: lecciones de baile o ejercico, lectura, clases de ingles, artes y oficios, juegos de mesa, et cetera).

- Sign up to bring food for the guests at the shelter OR sign up to cook dinner with your organized group (church, community or civic group) in our kitchen. Certain slots available. Ofrece llevar la cena para los huéspedes O ofrece cocinar la cena aquí en nuestra cocina (para solo los grupos grandes).
