Trauma's Impact on Learning and Behavior
TRAINING GOAL:
Explore nuances of brain development and the central nervous system and how it impacts education.  This professional development will provide an overview of trauma's impact on learning and behavior, but also provide tools and strategies to help students overcome challenges and build resiliency.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: As a result of this training, participants will learn:
Understand the prevalence of trauma and its impact on education.
Recognize the importance of neuroscience in the evaluation of student gaps.
Build a toolbox of resources to provide support to teachers and students.
