PTO Newsletter and Volunteering
This form is to ensure that your family will receive communication via email form the Wilson Wrangler K-8 Parent Teacher Organization. Submit a separate form for each parent/guardian that would like the newsletter. Emails are sent out weekly with the most up to date information about what is going on around the school and community.

Volunteering Explained
*Round Up/Chili Cook Off- celebration at the end of the Boot Drive Fundraiser, includes carnival-type atmosphere and silent auction
*Silent Auction- solicit businesses for donations and put together items for display at the Round Up
*Parent/Child Events- plan and execute a nice dance or activity for students and their parent or special adult
*Family STEAM Night- STEAM=science, technology, engineering, arts, music- line up booth presenters, help set up and tear down
*Teacher Appreciation- plan a thank you gift or luncheon for staff 4 times per year, set up and tear down
*Book Fair- open book boxes and organize everything for the sale, help staff the registers on sale days
*Spring Festival- line up booths/carnival rides/games for the event
*8th Grade Promotional Activities- plan rehearsal day with catered lunch and activities for graduating 8th graders
*Classroom Representative- represent your child's classroom at PTO Public Meetings and report back to them after the meeting. Meetings are once every quarter
