Q++ welcomes students of all different backgrounds to join our board next year!
Q++ aims to build and support the LGBTQ+ community at UW CSE through community engagement and representation. Events we have hosted in the past include Q++ Brunch as well as our Fireside Chat - a panel of alumni who have experience and perspective from being LGBTQ+ in industry. By supporting those with diverse gender and sexual identities and their allies, we hope to foster a sense of inclusivity that encourages a sense of openness and acceptance throughout the Allen School.
Available positions:
Internal PR: The Internal PR position covers internal marketing, social media, and event photos. This includes sending out marketing emails to the Q++ mailing list, managing the Facebook page, creating/updating events, and posting photos and group updates to our social media accounts.
External PR: The External PR position covers external marketing and correspondence. This includes coordinating with RSO's and organizations outside of Q++ and maintaining contact with panelists and coordinators for future events.
Designer: The designer position includes the creation and design of event presentations, flyers/posters, graphics, forms and RSVPs, and other work that includes designing and/or creating Q++ materials.
At-Large Representative: At-large representatives help with event planning/coordinating and participate in board meetings to help bring more student perspective to our group.

Note that Q++ will do its best to place applicants in their preferred position, but a placement in an applicant's first-choice position is not guaranteed.
