The Educational Service Unit 2 in Fremont, NE is looking for college students to mentor middle and high school students. The two schools specifically looking for mentors are Raymond Central and Schuyler. There is an emphasis on serving underrepresented populations including females, minorities, students with disabilities and students of poverty. They are developing a mentoring program for primarily girls (heavy emphasis on middle school) and want students studying in STEM fields to assist. They will incorporate mentoring opportunities for UNL students through non-traditional forms of mentoring (zoom connections) one time per month.
Your Commitment: One 30 minute zoom call per month with your assigned mentee
