President

The duties of president include: coordinate the work of this PTA's executive board and committees in order that the purposes may be promoted; preside at all executive board and membership meetings; oversee all committees, etc.

VP of Membership

The duties of the Membership chair include:

Recruit new members throughout the year with the goal of recruiting one member for every student on your campus - A Voice for Every Child! Engage school administration and faculty in supporting your PTA through membership. Reach out to all families, new and returning, to become a member of your PTA. Share the importance of PTA and publicize the vision, mission, priorities, and benefits of membership.

VP of Volunteers

The duties of the Volunteer chair include:

Coordinating Volunteers for all PTSA events. I.E, Fun Food Frenzy, Pizza Thursdays, Teacher Luncheons, and etc.

Secretary

The duties of Secretary include:

Maintaining records of all meeting minutes for all executive board and membership meetings, record retention policies, ecommerce policies, plans of work, etc.

Treasurer

The duties of Treasurer include:

have custody of all the PTA funds;
serve as the budget and finance committee chair;
present IRS confirmation of the appropriate Form 990 acceptance at the first executive
board meeting;
present a written and verbal financial report at regular executive board and membership
meetings, and as requested by the executive board or membership;
maintain books of account and records including bank statements, receipts, budgets,
invoices, paid receipts and canceled checks in accordance with the records retention
policy;
make disbursements in accordance with the budget adopted by the membership; etc.
