We believe that it is equally important to educate our students about how they can improve the quality of the environment.
If your child chooses to join the Boon Environmental Club, they will not only learn how they can help, but they will have the opportunity to directly impact the environment through many hands on activities
in which our club will participate.
Any Boon student in 3rd – 6th grade can join the Environmental Club, but you must be able to commit to the following:
1. Boon Student must attend at least 5 of our meetings/activities during the school year. We will meet approximately once a month after school. We may also meet on a weekend or other day for special activities and field trips.
2. Understand that some of our meetings may take place off campus and will require parents to arrange
transportation to and from events.
3. The student must come to each meeting ready to learn and participate. Each student will be expected to be
respectful and considerate to all Environmental Club Instructors as well as fellow members. The student must follow the instructions of their volunteer instructors at all times. The student will be respectful of the environment and any wildlife. If the student does not follow these requirements, they will be given one warning. If the student persists with the inappropriate behavior, they will no longer be able to participate in the Environmental Club.
Thank you in advance for your understanding of the goals of the Environmental Club.
