To help combat the financial burden of puppy raising, Pawsible has decided to create the Puppy Raiser Sponsorship. The Puppy Raiser Sponsorship supports puppy raisers through the duration of raising one puppy. This sponsorship will provide puppy raisers with the basic necessities for puppy raising.
Eligibility
- Be a student puppy raiser or prospective puppy raiser at the University of Maryland for Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind or America's VetDogs.
- Prospective Raisers must be within 3 months of raising a puppy
- This sponsorship is for those who have considered puppy raising, but their financial situation has held them back from doing so
- If you are a current puppy sitter who has wanted to raise a puppy, but cannot afford to do so, this sponsorship is for you!
- If you are a puppy raiser who no longer has the funds to support the current puppy you are raising or to raise again, this sponsorship is also for you!
If you are raising two dogs, this sponsorship will only apply to one dog. If you have a co-raiser or a secondary raiser, the sponsorship only applies to you and your costs!
Applicants may elect at the end of the application to have their application considered for Raiser Relief if they are not chosen for the sponsorship.
This application will remain open until a sponsee is chosen.
