To become an officer for OABE, NORMALLY candidates must be a current member in good-standing (has been a member for one year). Nevertheless, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic that disrupted the world, the OABE Executive Board has decided to forgo the requirement of being "in good standing" and opening up nominations to ALL who attend the OABE 2022 Conference. Please feel free to nominate yourself, or anyone else you know who may be attending this year's conference. Thank you!
Voting will be conducted at the General Assembly to be held on November 12th.

Duties:
The President-Elect shall assume presidential responsibilities in the absence of the President; serve as Publisher/Vendor Liaison for the Annual Conference; serve as Chairperson of the Membership Committee; and perform such other duties as are assigned by the President. Newsletter Editor:
Duties:
The Newsletter Editor shall be responsible for publishing an Association Newsletter at intervals and in a format specified by the Executive Board. The Newsletter Editor shall also serve as Chairperson of the Communications Committee.
Secretary/Treasurer:
Duties: The Secretary/Treasurer shall record and keep minutes of all meetings of the General Assembly and of the Executive Board; maintain permanent files of all correspondence, reports and conferences of the Association; maintain a current list of the membership; serve as a member of the Communications Committee; receive and disburse all funds; keep a record of receipts and disbursements which shall be audited annually; present a financial report to the membership at each Annual General Assembly and to the Executive Board upon request; direct all fund raising activities; and perform such other duties as shall be assigned by the President.
