FUN Application - FTC CREW Member
Thank you for your interest in becoming a FUN FTC staff member!  We are looking at enhancing our lineup of shows and are looking for talented individuals that are knowledgeable about their local/nearby region FTC community and events and also an individual to serve as the technical lead.  

Position Descriptions:

FUN FTC CREW Member:  These individuals are on-air personality and help create FUN shows and content. CREW members are both the face of FUN but also work in the background with to create content through scheduled deadlines and expectations. FTC CREW Members will work together with coordination with the FUN FTC Lead (Ishaan) and Editor-In-Chief (Tyler).

Types of content creators we are looking for include and current pay schedules for independent contractors:
FTC Top 25 - Twitch live show - $20/show
FTC Recap - Twitch live show and/or YouTube offline - $10/event write-up shorts / $20 long
Behind the Bot Interviews - YouTube offline - $20/accepted interview
FUNalysis Match Analysis - YouTube offline - $20/video
Other YouTube pieces - $20-40/video

FUN FTC Technical Lead: We are looking for an individual that can act as the lead for FUN FTC to create video content pieces that break down FTC rules and updates especially as it involved technical aspects of the robot through our FTC Updates Now programming. Current pay schedule for this independent contractor position: $40/video created with videos created every two weeks until no longer needed.

Some attributes that make a good fit to be a member of FUN FTC Staff:

*Enthusiastic personality and a drive to get the job done no matter what.
*Ability to meet deadlines: Our fans and fellow staff rely upon everyone getting their commitments done on time. We trust you to manage your time up to a deadline but will always be available should you need help.
*Knowledge of the FTC game and knowledge and representative of teams and events in their region and neighboring areas.
*Ability to work with others including other FUN CREW Members.
*Communication: Be proactive in communicating ideas and issues so we can work together to make it right.
*Active in the community: Help us grow our Discord and social offerings while being involved in the FRC and/or FTC community.
*Confidence in front of a camera with a strong vocal presence.
*Ability to broadcast out of a quiet space without being disturbed, have a webcam (other than a laptop webcam), microphone (other than a laptop microphone), headphones, and a wired internet connection with at least 5mbps upload.

FUN FTC Crew Member Applicants: Please submit either an audio or video recording recapping the 2021 Maryland Tech Invitational Event. This video should be approximately 5-10 minutes in length and detail the event and its highlights. You can record just audio of yourself or if you prefer/are able to incorporate match video or self into a video.

FUN FTC Technical Lead: Please submit either a video recording breaking down the <GS11> rules revision and break down what it means for teams, what the change was and how it is important for teams to know.
<GS11> Drive Teams Touching Robots or Driver Stations after Barcode Randomization – Drive Teams
are not allowed to touch or interact with their Robots or Driver Station once field personnel have begun the
randomization process. If this occurs, a Minor Penalty will be assessed, and the offending Robot is not eligible
to earn the Autonomous Bonus in the Autonomous Period. This Penalty only affects the offending Team. The
non-offending Alliance partner Robot remains eligible for the Autonomous Bonus Scoring achievement.
