Take Back Your Reading: Summer Reading 2022 Signups
IMPORTANT UPDATE AS OF AUG. 5th, 2022:  COMMITTEE MEMBERS HAVE FINISHED FORMALLY ASSIGNING STUDENTS TO THEIR SUMMER READING GROUPS.  Students who haven't yet signed up may indicate their preferences below.  YOU HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG.  PLEASE NOTE:  Your academic advisors will check in with you and help you join an available book group in the fall when we are back on campus. All's well.

Welcome to lots of choices for Summer Reading!  The goals of this program include encouraging reading for pleasure, and providing student-driven recommendations to help you do so.  We want to promote conversations about these books once we return in the fall. The selections below are nearly all from students who'll be co-leading those book discussions in the fall. Thank you, students, for your recommendations!
WHAT TO DO:  Please rank your first, second and third Summer Reading book choices. We'll sort you into groups, and will get back to you to confirm your spot in a book group.  This fall, you'll meet with others who chose the same book and have a discussion.  Visit the Summer Reading LibGuide for full descriptions of the books, and to find out where to borrow or buy a copy:  https://libguide.catlin.edu/us/summerreading

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT WHICH BOOK I GOT? Everyone who signed up by July 12th has received word of their matchup through email. Those signing up after July 12th will be assigned a group and notified by August 5th, 2022.  Thanks!  Signing up late?  Please carefully read the message posted above.
