Join us this summer for Good News Adventure 2021: Treasured! At GNA, kids discover God’s greatest treasure isn’t diamonds, gems, or gold – it’s them! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, eat yummy treats, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Closing Quest that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Good News Adventure is a FREE program open to kids of any faith background. Every child is welcome!

Kids completing K5 through 4th grade are invited to register here to come along on the Adventure. Youth in 5th grade through high school, as well as adults, are encouraged to sign up on the separate volunteer registration form to join in the fun as volunteers!

COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
Weather permitting, all the activities will be held outdoors. If we have inclement weather, then activities will be moved inside the Catholic East SSPP Campus building (2461 N. Murray Ave). We are following the CDC guidelines for youth camps this summer. If we are inside the building, then masks will always be worn and 3 ft social distancing will be followed. When the children are participating in outdoor activities, masks will be optional, and 3 ft social distancing will still be followed.

We ask that all children bring a mask and a filled water bottle every day. Snacks will be provided in individual servings.

Additional layers of safety: Children will travel through 5 different stations in small groups or "crews" of 6-7 children led by one adult leader and one youth helper. The small groups or crews will be with the same children all week. We will keep all children in the same household together in the same small group.

Due to social distancing, the number of participants will be capped at 80 children. We will have a waitlist if we reach more than 80 campers and for those who cannot participate in-person, we will also provide at-home GNA packets with a music CD and links to videos.
