Instrument / Vocal Lesson Enrolment From
Thank you for your interest in peripatetic instrumental/vocal lessons for your child. Lessons are provided by external teachers, who are selected on their talent and ability to inspire pupils.

Lessons will happen during the school day on a rotation in order to minimise disruption to their curriculum education.

For financial assistance, any Parent/Carer in receipt of either Income support, Income based Job seekers Allowance, receives support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Child Tax Credit in some circumstances or the guarantee element of State Pension Credit, should contact their child’s Head of House to ask for further information. All enquiries will be treated in the strictest of confidence and we are required to ask for documentation to support your request.

A few instruments are available for beginners or those requiring assistance but all students are encourages to rent or buy their own instruments to ensure pride in their instrument and commitment to musical development.

Students making good progress in lessons are encouraged to take part in school ensembles. This is very beneficial to developing musicianship and we hope parents will encourage their child to participate in these activities.
