Girls Rock Austin requires anyone who works with minors to pass a criminal background check. Instrument instructors with experience providing one-on-one virtual music lessons online preferred. Instructors must have basic and/or advanced knowledge in the instrument they are teaching and must be prepared to teach students with widely varying levels of experience, learning styles and genres (not just Rock). Experience working with kids in a school or camp setting is a plus but not required. We do our best to match instructors with campers based on experience, skill level and musical interests.

Please remember, it's hard learning something new at any age, so we ask all instructors to provide a little extra patience, understanding and support to our campers, especially during these trying times. We want this learning experience to be a fun, memorable one for all involved.

"I (your name here) hereby acknowledge and ASSUME THE RISKS BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN related to my participation in this activity and, to the fullest extent permitted by the law, WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE GIRLS ROCK CAMP AUSTIN AND GIRLS ROCK AUSTIN FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES FOR DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, PERMANENT DISABILITY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, that I may have, or that may subsequently accrue to, as a result of my participation in this year’s programs by Girls Rock Austin, whether or not resulting from negligence or misconduct of Girls Rock Camp, Girls Rock Austin, and their agents, employees, volunteers, sponsors, affiliates, and Board Members. I acknowledge and ASSUME THE RISKS BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN related to the provision of such transportation. *

Girls Rock Austin Media Release Form: "By agreeing to this form, I, hereby authorize Girls Rock Austin and those acting pursuant to its authority, or with its permission, to interview and/or to have photographs, audio, or audiovisual recordings made of myself (“Media Images”). I further grant permission to Girls Rock Austin, its agents and assigns, to use my name, voice, photo, video, interview, performance and likeness for promotion of Girls Rock Austin camps, programs, and events for all forms, media and manners, including, but not limited to footage, videos, audio recording, promotional pieces, documentaries, DVDs, documentaries, news releases, photographs, website, internet mediums, marketing, advertising, trade, promotion, and exhibition for an indefinite period of time. I give unrestricted permission for images, videos, and recordings to be used in print, video, digital, and internet media in whole or in part. I agree that these images and/or voice recordings may be used for a variety of purposes and that these images may be used without further notifying me. Girls Rock Austin shall own all rights, title, and interest in and to the Media Images, to be used an disposed of at the discretion of Girls Rock Austin. I acknowledge that neither I will be compensated for the use of these Media Images. In consideration for attendance at camp, campers hereby grant Girls Rock Austin a nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide license to copy, sell and distribute in any manner any songs created by campers while attending Girls Rock Austin (the “Songs”) and to incorporate the Songs, in whole or in part, into derivative works for sale and distribution without limitation. Campers retain ownership and all other rights in the Songs. I acknowledge that I have legal authority to approve this form. *
