Ally McCrae is best known for his work with BBC Radio 1, where is presented for BBC Introducing Scotland and presenting on TV for the BBC at various music festivals. He has also directed and edited for YouTube channel Detour and MC’d at the closing ceremony for the Commonwealth Games.

Dave Owen is the Label Manager at Big Scary Monsters an independent record label from Oxford.  Now 18 years old and nearly 250 releases later they've put out records from the likes of The Get Up Kids, La Dispute,  American Football, Modern Baseball, Joyce Manor, Jamie Lenman, Gnarwolves, Pulled Apart by Horses, Cursive, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Tall Ships, Beach Slang, Minus The Bear, mewithoutYou, Nervus, Orchards, Kevin Devine, Caspian, Balance and Composure, The Fall of Troy, Andrew W.K. and absolutely loads more!

Halina Rifai started blog and podcast Podcart in 2009 and has since gone on to write for publications including Rocksound, The Quietus, The Scotsman and more and is a regular contributor on BBC Radio Scotland. She works within PR & digital marketing with Lost Art Agency and has worked within live events and promotion. She is a mental health advocate and started online and offline mental health safe space A Sonic Hug this year. Halina has most recently become the team lead for Scottish Women Inventing Music’s PR & Marketing working group.

Heather Davina Campbell has returned to Glasgow after an 8 year shift in London; spending four of those years at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. She moved over to Somethin Else, an independent production company working across Radio, TV, Podcasts and Social, where she was Lead Content Producer for social and digital for The XFactor 2016, The Mercury Prize and Dancing On Ice and worked on projects including The BRITs, BBC Music, Amazon Prime, Oxfam and Apple. She has also worked with Studio Something, and has since taken the leap freelance into the world of podcasts and digital.

John Niblock is bassist for math/post rock band VASA. He is a booking agent with Atonal Agency, representing the likes of Alpha Male Tea Party, Thank You Scientist and Voyager and has promoted shows at various venues across Glasgow.

Josie Faulkner is the Admin & Events Assistant at Big Scary Monsters. She has worked on various projects for the label: popup shops, festivals including Big Day Out and Summer In The City, and is responsible for funding and visa applications for the label’s roster.

Kevin Douch is the founder and owner of independent record label Big Scary Monsters. Starting straight out of school in 2001, he has worked with a plethora of bands such as Gnarwolves, Blakfish, Tubelord, TTNG and more; and has dabbled in band management, tour booking, press and radio as well as fingers in pies such as Alcopop! Records and Pink Mist.

Tom Johnson is the founder and Editor in Chief of music magazine Gold Flake Paint. Having started the publication as a blog in 2010. Tom has grown Gold Flake Paint into the one of the most respected music journals in the UK, turning the webzine into a physical entity released quarterly covering some of the biggest rising names in music.

Stuart Braithwaite is the guitarist of post-rock band Mogwai , with whom he has spent 25 years and nine studio albums. With one of the most successful careers in the alternative world, Stuart is also one of the founders of Glasgow’s Rock Action Records which has responsible for releases from The Twilight Sad, Kathryn Joseph, Part Chimp, Sacred Paws, Mogwai and more.
