Remember: The role of the Grad Student Representative is to collect questions, opinions, and concerns of fellow CCRMA graduate students and help convey them to the faculty. The rep must be able to do so without revealing the identity of the question/opinion/concern's source. Additionally, the rep helps plan the quarterly town hall meetings, alongside members of the faculty, staff and colloquium planning committee. In general, the Grad Student Rep should be able to keep their own views and ideas separate from the views and ideas of the student body in general, both when interacting with the faculty and staff and when soliciting thoughts from graduate students.
