I have written this book to raise money for my London Marathon Fund, in which all proceeds go directly to First Step Opportunity Group. First Step is a very important local charity to me who support families with a child who has special educational needs and/or disabilities. They were integral to me when my son was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder causing lifelong complex medical and learning difficulties. They supported me through his lifesaving heart surgery and during the months of recovery, years of no sleep, and guided me through many obstacles to get him the support he needs. They are a lifeline for families coming to terms with a life changing diagnosis for their child. First Step rely 100% on donations since their local authority funding was stripped back in 2020. Without your donations, this charity couldn't continue the wonderful and vital support they offer.
