What is this?Β A support group!
Who is it for?Β LGBTQIA2s+ and questioning Students in High School or College!
Where do we meet?Β 1160 Parkway Drive, Santa Fe, NMΒ 
When do we meet?Β Weekly on 1st & 3rd Thursdays as well as 2nd & 4th Wednesdays
What's the vibe? At first it will be classic support group vibes- we will set up group agreements, introduce ourselves, talk about things we like, things that are important to us, have snacks, have an activity we choose together and learn about cool things in our local community or in our larger queer community. Eventually we can plan for bigger and cooler activities like outings, guest speakers, and special get togethers. The goal is that everyone starts succeeding in ways they want to!
What's the purpose of this group?
🌈 Increase resiliency, self-efficacy, positive self-identity, and effective self-regulation skills
🌈 Provide students with support from queer facilitators, case navigators, peer support workers and therapists
🌈 Connect LGBTQIA2s+ students with each other
🌈 Make one another laugh in a supportive, wholesome environment
🌈 Learn stress management techniques to care for ourselves and our community
🌈 Share announcements about other community events
🌈 Center and uplift the work of BIPOC activists, change-makers and culture-creators
