We are pleased that you have decided to apply to serve on the Student Disciplinary Council (SDC). The University-wide SDC is a volunteer group made up of faculty, students and staff involved in helping resolve alleged violations of the EWU Code of Conduct. Every year, EWU seeks students, faculty and staff to serve a (renewable) term. 

This is a highly- regarded position and serving as a member of the SDC requires demonstrating the utmost level of confidentiality and professionalism. SDC members play a critical role in adjudicating student conduct matters. SDC members are trained to serve and are contacted throughout the year on an as-needed basis to hear conduct cases.

Application and Selection Process

• Student Rights and Responsibilities staff will review applications and select individuals to move forward to a next round interview. The Vice President for Student Affairs has final approval for council members.
