Youth Keynote Speakers Nomination for Seeds of Change Conference

NOMINATION DEADLINE: MARCH 17, 2021

We are seeking youth keynote speakers between the ages of 13-20 for the 4th annual Seeds of Change Conference on April 15, 2021. The event will be virtual, and the speakers must be available from 9-10am that day. Criteria we will be using to select speakers include: (1) How well can the speaker connect social justice topics with environmental sustainability issues? (2) We are looking for diverse range of youth speakers from varied backgrounds, schools, lived experiences and identities.

You do not need to have a fancy resume. If you or someone you know has something to say and is comfortable with public speaking, please nominate them!

We will also have a dress rehearsal where you can practice your talk and get familiar with the conference platform, date and time TBD. We'd love for you to stay for the whole day if you can! The conference will last until 3pm. The Seeds of Change Conference is a collaboration between youth and adult partners from: Communitopia's Pittsburgh Youth for Climate Action, Women for a Healthy Environment, Grow Pittsburgh, World Affairs Council, Green Building Alliance and the Women and Girls Foundation and Chatham University.
