Registration for Wicked and Rebellious Son
A Rabbinic Text Course at Kehillath Israel and on Zoom taught by Deborah Anstandig, Rabbinic Intern

In this course, we will prepare for Passover through an analysis of the Rasha, the Wicked Child, in the Haggadah. We will then learn in the original Hebrew and Aramaic a troubling passage of Talmud reflecting on the Rebellious Son from Deuteronomy.

The initial class will have texts in Hebrew and English. Subsequent classes will require familiarity with the aleph bet.

Please commit to attending all 4 classes if possible, as the material will build from one week to the next.

Dates and times:

Sundays, March 12, 19, 26, April 2nd, 5:30-7:00 PM
If you are able to stay for Maariv at 7:00 PM, that would be ideal!
