As we are investigating the charity organizations, the organization is subject to change if we find any immoral issues before the publishing date. Please note that if we do need to change the organization, the cause will remain the same.
Stories will be read by January 15, 2024 and a decision will be emailed to you the following week. This is simply because we cannot accept every story that is submitted.
Please fill out the form if you would like to join. Not everyone who submits the form will be accepted, but you will be notified by either myself (Killian Wolf) or my PA (CR Phoenix) by the week of January 22nd. If you were accepted via email or facebook messenger. The buy in is $35 and needs to be paid within one week of your story being accepted. If you'd like to pay more, you can as it is for charity, but the base is $35. I will provide receipts for the cover design if you would like. This amount is non-refundable. Please understand that this is a charity event and the money will go toward the cover design, AMS ADS, and newsletter promos. Any excess funds from the buy-in will be donated to (suicide prevention website), as well as all proceeds made from the anthology will go toward the cause. I will cover any of the remaining costs for advertising and for the production of this book.
This anthology will be listed in KU. It will be a limited edition that will be up for 12 months - subject to change depending on what is going on with KU. If this changes, it will be voted on.
Requirements:

*All profit will be donated to the agreed upon charity
*Participation in a facebook event/takeover is required. My PA, CR Phoenix, will run and create the event. It will not be a major time commitment and you will be able to schedule posts
*New stories preferred please, unless you have a story in another anthology that is currently in KU and they agree you can use it in this one
*Authors must share the anthology in their groups, newsletters, and promotional groups to make it a success
*All submissions must be developmentally edited, line, copyedited, and ready for publication at the author's expense
*We will format your story for the book
*The theme for this year is YA to NA Mythology; TRIGGER WARNINGS ARE REQUIRED Accepted: fade to black
* NOT ALLOWED: crimes against children, if your character is 18 or older that is okay. Please no sexual violence on screen and no torture of humans or animals on screen either
*Word count is to be between 2,500-10,000 words (please message myself or CR Phoenix with concerns on this)
*Please make the story be a standalone so readers aren't lost, but you can incorporate characters from your current books
*We plan to accept up to 15 authors (give or take)
*Paperbacks will be available
*You may have a co-author
If you need help, my PA is more than happy to accept new clients/create documents/swap forms if needed.
If you would like to create promotional graphics, those will be accepted as well!

My PA, CR Phoenix is working on promotional ideas. Please feel free to reach out to her or have your PA reach out to her too if you have any ideas.
My PA will be creating a fun quiz once we get an idea of what characters everyone will be doing too. It will be a find your mythology creature!

After you have completed the form and been accepted, you will receive a contract with terms of the agreement.
This anthology is a collaborative effort. Anyone not selected to be in this anthology is urged to apply again next year as we will be choosing a new charity to support. Please do stay in the group and help us promote by sharing with your friends as well as being the group's moral support.
