ESSER III Planning Survey for Oracle School District
Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III (ESSER III) funds are being provided under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021, Public Law 117-2, enacted on March 11, 2021.  The purpose of ESSER III is to address the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on students by combating learning loss, support social-emotional needs and ensuring a safe return to the school environment for students.  OSD2 will submit an application for ESSER III funds to the Arizona Department of Education which must include input from a variety of stakeholders on how best to use these funds.  Your input will directly impact how ESSER III funds are spent across the district.  Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback.  Thank you in advance for your input and participation.  Survey Deadline: September 10, 2021

At least 20% of ESSER III funds received must be used for learning recovery.  Please select the academic strategies that you consider vital to addressing learning loss resulting from COVID-19.  Check all that apply.
An allowable use of ESSER III funds is school facility repairs or improvements that enable school operations and reduce the risk of virus transmission and support student health needs.  With this in mind, please select any school facility repairs and/or improvements that you deem necessary to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus transmission and exposure to environmental health hazards, including the improvement of indoor air quality.
An allowable use of ESSER III funds is providing mental health services and supports for students.  With this in mind, please select the supports you would like the district to consider.
Please list any parent/family engagement activities that would provide information and assistance to parents and families on how they can effectively support students.
Please list any teacher and staff training to support the social and emotional needs of students in the classroom.
