Synod Questions
Pope Francis has called for a world-wide Synod on Synodality to culminate in Rome in the Autumn of 2023.

A synod is a council of the Church usually convened to think and pray and discern together on a specific topic. Simply put ‘synodality’ means ‘journeying together’.  

Please take a few moments to fill out this questionnaire. Your answers will remain anonymous unless you choose to enter your name and parish at the end. Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions - your contribution is what makes the synodal process possible.

1. Each of us has been baptised into the Family of God that is the Church. As a baptised person, what is your experience of journeying together in the Church?
2. In your own experience, do you feel part of a Faith Community? How?
3. What do you see as the issues needing attention now in your Parish Community?
4. Where do you think the Holy Spirit might be leading you to participate more fully in the Church?
5. What steps might the Holy Spirit be inviting the Church to take now?
