The intent of the St. Charles County CAPS program is to provide students with the opportunity to gain authentic, hands-on work experience in professional work environments that relate to their academic and career interest, and prepare them for future jobs. The program is also designed to have employers an opportunity to guide and evaluate future talent.

St. Charles County CAPS associates look forward to demonstrating their professionalism and talents by completing internships with business partners. The internship runs from Tuesday 1/16 to the Thursday 5/2 for 2.5 hours per day, four days per week.  The internship scope is flexible and meant to provide the ability to customize for the business partner and personalize for the CAPS associate.  However, it works best to be able to have specific projects for the intern to complete.

Each CAPS associate will send his or her cover letter and resume to apply for the approved internship and the business partner will have an opportunity to interview the intern applicants and select the best fit intern.
