Hardrock is pleased that we can offer camping to the Hardrock community at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area, 1 Kendall Pl, Silverton, CO 81433.  Permits will be issued on a first come, first served basis till full.

By submitting this reservation request, you agree to the guidelines of camping below as established by Hardrock and the town of Silverton.

Advance reservations are appreciated, but we expect to have plenty of space for folks to just show up.  If you arrive between 6a-10p, check in with the Camp Host.  If they are not present (or you arrive outside those hours), go ahead & set up camp, and send a text to the Host (970-759-0369) with your name, vehicle type, license plate number and state, and nights you'll be staying, and they'll put a pass on your windshield later that day.

Check In may begin on Wednesday, July 13 @ 8:00a.  All campers must depart no later than Noon on Monday, July 18.

Code of Conduct: All campers are expected to be courteous and respectful to the property and their fellow campers, as well as follow the guidelines listed here and any additional instructions from the Camp Host.  Notable violations will be given a warning, and a recurrence will result in dismissal from the area.  Runners are responsible and accountable for the actions of their crews/pacers before, during and after the run.  Our Hardrock family has a great reputation - let's keep it strong and ace this trial year for the future.

The Ski Lodge will be open for general use, including a small kitchen, dining area, water, bathrooms and electricity. (Th 6a - Su Noon)

For showers, the Silverton School Gym will be open from 5-7p Wednesday & Thursday evenings for community showers at $5/person.  The showers will also be open while the run is happening, but please give runners priority during that time.  Alternatively, the Silverton Lakes RV Park (2100 Kendall Rd) has showers available everyday from 8a-7p for $15/person.

Camping Guidelines
1. A campsite may have a maximum of 4 people per space
2. Separate areas will be designated for tent/truck/car and sprinter van/RV/trailer camping. The latter may NOT park in areas where ground cover may be negatively impacted.  All vehicles must display a camping permit while in the camping area.
3. Campers may reserve a space for any number of nights between 7/13 and 7/18.
4. Campers will be expected to abide by all town of Silverton and San Juan County codes, laws and guidelines. This is especially critical for areas of noise, trash and public appearance.
5. Pets are allowed in accordance with town of Silverton guidelines. All pets must be leashed. Pets may not be tied outside or left unattended. Campers are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
6. Visitors may be in camping areas from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Only campers may remain in this area after 10 p.m. As runners finish through the night on Saturday into Sunday, we will relax this rule as long as noise is kept to a respectful level.
7. Parking in front of Kendall Mountain Ski Lodge will be limited to HRH staff and day visitors.
8. All campers will be responsible for disposing waste and garbage in accordance with town of Silverton codes and prudent/reasonable sanitation guidelines.
9. No campfires. Cookstoves are allowed.  Be mindful of fire danger.
10. The Hardrock Hundred Camp Host is available for your questions and concerns. They have the authority to act on behalf of the Run Management.
