HCPSS CAFETERIA UPDATES
There are several updates related to cafeteria protocols to further reduce the risk of the spread of COVID-19. All schools will have outdoor eating spaces available on campus for student use as weather and staffing permits to lessen the number of students in the cafeteria. In an effort to maintain a healthy environment in the cafeterias, the following actions are being implemented:

OUTDOOR SEATING
*LWES will have an outdoor lunch area available for student use as weather and staffing permits.
*A seating chart will be created to assist with contact tracing.  

INDOOR SEATING
•Once received, plexiglass shields for indoor cafeteria tables will be used to provide additional protection when students must lower their masks to eat.
•All students will have an assigned seat for contact tracing purposes if needed.
•During indoor eating, students must wear masks when not eating.  This includes:
        •Entering and exiting the cafeteria.
        •Standing in the lunch line
        •Leaving their seats to throw away trash, go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, etc.
        •Sitting at their table after finishing their meal
