Rental Agreement
Once your rental request is approved, the information that you submit below is used as your rental agreement. Read the terms and conditions carefully before submitting.

Description of Facilities

By this agreement, the renter is renting only the Preservation House and the parking area toward White Pond Drive. The Judith Bear Isroff Park, to the north and east of PH (toward Market Street), is managed by the City of Akron. Any special use of the Isroff Park must be approved by the City of Akron well in advance of the event.

Preservation House Details:
  • Meeting room: approximately 25‘ by 32’ Maximum seating capacity: 50 people.
  • Available furnishings: 40 cushioned chairs, 10 folding chairs, and 12 3’ x 6’ tables.
  • The food preparation area includes counter space, sink (but not a garbage disposal), under-counter refrigerator, convection oven, coffee maker, and microwave. There is one restroom in the vestibule.

Schedule of Rental Fees 

Weekdays (Monday-Friday): $125 for a half day (1-4-hours) or $200 for a full day (4+ hours)

Weekends (Saturday-Sunday): $175 for a half day (1-4-hours) or $275 for a full day (4+ hours)

PTP members/Non-profit/Community Groups: Receive special rental rates as follows:

  • Weekdays (Monday-Friday): $50 for a half day (1-4-hours) or $75 for a full day (4+ hours)
  • Weekends (Saturday-Sunday): $75 for a half day (1-4-hours) or $175 for a full day (4+ hours)

Reservations

Payments are due in full  in order to secure reservations.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact Progress Through Preservation by phone or email at least 72 hours in advance of canceling any event at 330.374.3787 or akronptp@gmail.com. Cancellations with at least 30 days' notice will receive a 50% refund.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

With my typed signature below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this entire agreement, and hereby accept, and agree to, the terms, conditions, and obligations for the use of Preservation House, as listed in this agreement and hereby assume all related responsibilities.
