BJEP: Jewish Sunday School invites the community to take part in our family Hanukkah Program!
BJEP Jewish Sunday School, an independent and vibrant Jewish learning community, from Kindergarten to Grade 7, invites the community to celebrate Hanukkah with us and join BJEPs day of learning emphasizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects. The day includes a traveling program from the Museum of Science called Night Sky to explore the stars in a traveling planetarium, make your own flashlight (grades 3-7), and to create a dreidel mural (grades K - 2) by exploring Hanukkah through art. There will be multiple stations set-up and attendees will rotate through the activities. The day concludes with a special snack. We are grateful for the support of the Waltham Cultural Council in helping bring this program to fruition.
BJEP instills students with a sense of joy and belonging within the Jewish community, and knowledge of Jewish traditions, history and the Hebrew language. We meet on Sundays from 9:30am-12pm at Brandeis University.
This program is recommended for those who are in Kindergarten through 7th grade.
Cost: $10 per family by December 3rd / $20 after or at the door.
(Free for BJEP & Waltham families)
