World Affairs Challenge (WAC) Judge Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in serving as a judge for the World Affairs Challenge program. This program couldn’t happen without volunteers like you!

WAC competition judging is an all-virtual experience, as we have teams participating from around the world to propose solutions to the world's most pressing global issues! As a judge, you will be able to watch the solution "pitches" (short videos) and interact with student teams to learn more about their projects.

Next opportunities available Fall 2024 and Spring 2025.

TIME COMMITMENT: Being a judge requires reviewing a 30-minute training video and completing a short quiz on the material in advance of the competition-related activities. We request that judges commit to reviewing and scoring at least three presentations - for each one, you will watch the video presentation (approximately 10 minutes), participate in a Q&A session with the team who produced it, and enter your scores (based on the judging rubric) in an online form. We expect the judge training to take 30 minutes, and you will spend approximately 45 minutes for each presentation you agree to judge.

SIGN-UP PROCESS: Please provide answers to the questions below on this form. We will add you to our volunteer interest list and will follow up with more specific details on judging opportunities as they arise in February and March. You will have the opportunity to indicate your availability, etc. on those more specific requests!

NOTE: If you have completed this form previously or if you have judged with WAC in the last 2 years, you are already on this interest list! Thank you for your support thus far. You will hear from us about updating your judge training each WAC "season" and with specific opportunities to judge as the need arises.
