The University of Oslo and HISP Sri Lanka are pleased to announce the “DHIS2 Android Use and Configuration Academy” Level 1 to be held from 27 November to 2nd of December 2023 at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Learning objectives
Participants to this Academy will get an in-depth training on:
1. How to collect and visualise quality data with an Android mobile device for Aggregate,
Event and Tracker program
2. Modifying metadata to work well in the Android app, including use of colours, icons, maps and
relationships and other Android specific settings
3. Understand the implications of using Android in an implementation from several points of view
(testing, training, security, deployment, etc)
The facilitators will share best practices and lessons learned from DHIS2 Android implementations and will guide you through approaches that are applicable across various projects.

The Academy fees are USD 600 and this includes:
- Training materials
- Lunch breaks
- Coffee breaks
Prerequisites
Solid knowledge of DHIS2 Tracker Configuration. This is a technical and specialized course for implementers/administrators so please provide a good motivation in the form as the registration may be competitive.
