Application for a Fire Prevention Educational Visit
Generally, the Fire Marshal’s Office personnel participating in a Fire Prevention Educational Visit will be able to provide, on average, a 30-minute presentation on fire and accident prevention, followed by a question and answer period. The themes of this presentation may vary depending on the crowd size, audience, and circumstance. For events with booths, personnel can provide information on a variety of subjects to visitors.
PLEASE NOTE - Visits shall not be scheduled for more than two hours at a time.
• All requests require a minimum of 30 days advance notice to allow for processing.
• Event approvals are subject to department policy and availability of staff to accommodate your request.
• All events/activities shall be located within Everett city limits.
• Requests are accommodated on a first-come first-served basis.
Types of requests which will be scheduled may include (but are not limited to):
• Schools, daycare centers, churches, career fairs
• Community events, safety fairs, neighborhood block parties
• HOA meetings, scout meetings, special events
The following events will NOT be able to be accommodated:
• Business grand openings
• Private residence events/visits
• Events to gain or promote a business
• Fundraisers
• Controversial and/or political events
