River House 2024 - 2025 Wait List
Thank you for your interest in River House for the 2024 - 2025 Academic Year!  We are happy to let you know that the wait list is NOW OPEN!

Please read this in its entirety prior to submitting questions.  As a reminder - River House is only open to Brown University Graduate and Medical students.  If you are not a Brown University Graduate Student or Medical student, or do not plan to be, we are unfortunately unable to offer you housing.  Brown University staff/faculty are NOT eligible for housing at River House.

At this time, we do NOT have an anticipated date to begin offering housing awards, this is simply to join the wait list for when we do.  Additionally, we do not have pricing at this time for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.  We anticipate a range between $950-$1800 depending on floor plan and bed space, but do not have specifics.

A few things to note:
  • River House is not a pet friendly building.  All ESA's MUST be pre-approved by the Brown University SEAS office prior to move in.
  • River House is not part of Brown Auxiliary Housing - all questions about River House should be directed to the River House office.
  • Students living in River House are capped at a maximum 2 year stay.
  • You must be an actively enrolled Brown University Graduate Student or Medical Student to be offered housing at River House.  This information will be verified by the University prior to you receiving a Housing Award.  
  • Due to the anticipated length of our waitlist, we will likely only reach out to those who receive a Housing Award.
  • 1st Year Graduate Students and Medical students are given priority.
  • All preferences will be taken into consideration, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all preferences.
  • If you need to make changes to your answers AFTER completing this survey, please email our office with the requested changes.
  • Housing Awards are granted on a first come, first served basis, based on program type and University dictated allocation percentages.
  • Our office is very busy.  To ensure we are able to answer everyone, we do ask that you email us (info@myriverhouse.com) instead of calling as we are not always able to answer every call.
