Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this program is to make sure that all students are available to perform in any Merced Marching program they wish to participate in regardless of the family’s financial status. In the event of financial hardship, the boosters will gladly work with a student/family to ensure financial responsibilities are met.

The typing of your name at the end of the form will act as your signature.

Please be aware that the vendors and hotels must be paid in a timely manner. Therefore, the expense burden will be placed on the boosters and donations to cover outstanding balances. It will be assumed that the student and/or family will help themselves by doing available fundraising. There are two options available while requesting hardship,

Payment Plan - Boosters and students/parents agree to a lower amount over a longer period of time.


Hardship - Boosters will cover the costs not covered by fundraising.

We have read the details of the Hardship Agreement and understand that until the hardship is approved by the booster board, it will not be considered granted. Also, students must be in good standing before they are approved for a hardship. *
