At the last Farmer Advisory Committee meeting, the number one item brought up was waste management at the market.  It was also noted that other markets in Chicago have already eliminated the use of plastics. We are now researching possibilities so we can form a plan for the future. As a market, we want to work with the farmer advisory committee toward reaching a zero waste environment. The purpose of this survey is to get a better understanding of disposables currently used at the market.
