This October in the Makeshop we are teaching DIY skills, getting started on our own projects, and playing with craft in some half-term activities!
CRAFTUESDAY WORKSHOPS:
TUESDAY 15th OCTOBER: Drill competency + Making reclaimed wood boxes
Learn and test out power tool basics by making your own reclaimed wood box. Materials and tools provided. 18+
TUESDAY 22nd OCTOBER: Jigsaw competency + Making wooden animal glasses holders
Expand your power tool experience with a foundation on the jigsaw! Make a super cute wooden glasses holder to keep or for use at the Makeshop. Materials and tools provided. 18+
TUESDAY 29th OCTOBER: Half-Term Light-Up Crafting!
All-ages workshop using upcycled materials to make light up crafts for Autumn's lengthening nights.
You are encouraged to bring in any empty tin cans.
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
THURSDAY MAKESHOP+MEND SESSIONS:
In these sessions you can work on your own project! Come with an idea of something you'd like to make, something you'd like to repair, or just come along to explore the tools, materials, and good company on offer in the Makeshop.
MAKESHOP+MEND sessions are open to 18+ participants unless otherwise described. See form below for more info.
